(May 17, 2010) COMMERCE, GA -- Tim Tindle joined other illustrious Promod names, such as Roger Burgess, Rickie Smith, Joe Baker, Tony Pontieri, Castellana, and Knowles as non-qualifiers for the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals. Tindle’s attempts resulted in his best pass being a 6.055-second elapsed time at 232.31 mph. This was not the best performance for the team this season, as they struggled, missing one round of qualifying.
“It doesn’t sting any less,” said Tindle, who DNQ’d for the first time this season. “I guess I never thought that we’d be one of the ones that didn’t qualify.”
“We are going to keep our head up and keep rolling alone. I have a feeling this season will turn-around soon.”
