ENGLISHTOWN, NJ – Tim Tindle fought his way through two qualifying sessions at the NHRA SuperNationals at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ. His efforts were valiant but wasn’t enough to make the sixteen car NHRA Get Screened America Promod Challenge field.
After a rain delayed qualifying session, Tindle was limited to only two shots at qualifying for the main event. During the first session, Tindle delivered a 5.995, 237.46 pass but was not enough to hang on as he slowed to a 6.07, 232.83 mph during his second attempt.
“We have been working extremely hard but it just wasn’t our weekend,” Tindle said. “At this point we are disappointed because we are a competitive team. But, this is the unfortunate part of any drag race that we never like to see. We are hoping this season will turn around for us because we need it more than anyone”
“We will rebound. and we’ll be back and ready to go rounds at the next event.”
Next up for Tindle is the Thunder Valley Nationals at Bristol Dragway next weekend, June 18-20.
