Gainesville, FL (March 10, 2010)– Tim Tindle is more than ready to get behind the wheel of his Promod 1967 Ford Mustang this weekend at the Tire Kingdome NHRA Gatornationals in Gainesville, FL. A long awaited 2010 season is finally here and the Santa Rosa Beach, FL racer is eager to drop the clutch and make laps in the NHRA Get Screened America Promod Challenge.
The NHRA Promod class is a promod racer’s dream; featuring a 10-race season with ESPN2 coverage.
“It’s about that time,” Tindle said. “We are looking for a great start this season with high expectations. I think we can do it.”
“It’s exciting to know that the Promod class is now an official NHRA class. It’s even more exciting to know that the entire series will be covered on ESPN 2. I think this will bring a lot of attention to the growing Promod class.”
“I feel that we have a great team this year. We have Quain Stott onboard making the calls, and we are going to be competitive. Our main goal is to turn the win-light on one round at a time.”
Qualifying for the NHRA Get Screened America Promod Challenge is scheduled for 1:45 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, March 12 and 13. Eliminations will begin approximately 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 14.
