 INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Get Screened America Promod Driver Tim Tindle, the No. 9 qualifier for the 55th Annual Mac Tools U.S. Nationals at Raceway Park, was eliminated in the first round of eliminations. Tindle was up against Rickie Smith in the opening stanza at this historic event. The pair left the starting line with Tindle out first (.066 for Tindle, .076 for Smith - .000 is perfect). Tindle shook the tires, drove towards the centerline, and pedaled while Smith drove by him to take the victory with an 5.997, 234.94 mph. “We were just going for it,” said Tindle, who fell to eighth in the Promod points standings. “We went for it first round and felt that we could deliver a first round win, but we couldn’t keep the power planted to the ground.” “We will be ready for the next race,” Tindle added. The season is not over and we still have a chance to advance in the points. The next race for Tindle Racing team will be the 6th Annual Dragstock in Rockingham, NC this weekend.
