by Tindle Racing Media
Bristol, TN – Tim Tindle and the Tindle Racing Team is on a mission at the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals in Bristol, Tenn. After three rounds of qualifying, the Santa Rosa Beach, FL racer earned the provisional No. 3 position after delivering the quickest elapsed time and fastest mph for the final qualifying session; 6.078, 245.36 mph. The 245.36 mph pass was nearly 10 mph faster than most in the field.
Tindle defeated Andy McCoy during the first round of eliminations after delivering, again, the quickest elapsed time for the round; 6.069, 238.76.
”This bracket-car is just dialed in this weekend,” Tindle said. “With the conditions that we are in, you can’t ask for a better hotrod. During the last session, I knew she was on a good pass. The 245 mph pass felt really good. ”
“We plan to stick with the game plan and focus on one round at a time. The competition is definitely here and it will not be easy. But, I think we have what it takes to be competitive tomorrow.”
