Tindle Revs up to defend Englishtown Title

Old Bridge Township Raceway Park, Englishtown, NJ plays a special role in Tim Tindle's Promod career.  It is where Tindle earned his first national event win, after defeating Jay Payne. This weekend, Tindle will rocket the Dozer GT 500E Mustang and is looking to defend his Jersey title in the JEGS Promod Challenge.
 
The 2008 season, however, has been a different story for the Tindle Racing team.  Tindle has yet to win a race so far and he would like nothing more than to win his second consecutive race in Englishtown.  He realizes that making a wish turn into a reality won't be easy. 

"I'm looking forward to making this three in a row for the team," said Tindle. "It's always been one of the better tracks we race at throughout the year.  We've had a lot of success there and we'd like to make this race the turning point for our season."
 
"We're a young team and we are very motivated. We feel there's a lot of potential and we're very cable of winning.  It's tougher now because the class is more competitive but the potential is there. I think it's just a matter of time before we're able to put a string of runs together."

This weekend, Tindle Racing will have one car in competition, the Dozer GT500E Mustang that was piloted by Rick Stivers.  Stivers has abandoned his driving duties for the season to focus on his growing Stivers HVAC business. Quain Scott, Columbus, NC, will take over tuning duties this weekend.
