CECLIL, GA – Eliminations are complete from the Gritz Blitz Jr. Dragster Nationals held this past weekend at South Georgia Motorsports Park. Tindle Racing Pilot T.J. Tindle, Santa Rosa Beach, FL, took the number one qualifying position and then went on to win the race.
“The competition was tuff and it felt good to win the race. During qualifying, the car felt pretty good, but it didn’t really feel like a #1 qualifying pass.”
Behind the wheel of his Whaley powered Half-scale dragster, T.J. Tindle ran a 4.26 to take the number one position. Tindle defeated Matt Gillan on a hole-shot in the semi-finals and later defeated Alex Brandon on a hole-shot win in the finals.
”I want to thank mom, dad, Jim, Will, Whaley, and everyone that made this happen. I’m ready for the next race now.”
T.J. Tindle’s next race on the Gritz Blitz Outlaw Jr. Dragster Series is scheduled for May 17 in New Media, Pennsylvania.
